Is the Syma S107 mini RC helicopter easy to fly?

Is it?

Its easy to fly indoors with no wind. If flying outdoors, it'll be challenging with the wind & cross winds.

Anyone have a Syma S107G Micro RC helicopter?

About two years ago i bought a blade runner micro mosquito rc helicopter because it was supposed to be one of the best… NOT it failed I returned it second one didnt work either and third one almost worked but not quite.

I still want a little micro RC heli and im curious if anyone on here has a Syma S107G and can comment on them as far as durability? and function?

I had that mosquito, it was a lot of fun.i guess I got lucky. One of the Helis I have is the s107. It's great Heli. It's a blast to fly. It takes a bit of a beating, it's not indestructible. I've beat mines up a bit. One of the best things is that every part is easy to find online.the other is that the s107 has a very strong following, and online community. It's also a easy Heli to modify. Hope this helps. Do yourself a favor, buy one,try not to pay more than 25-30$$ tho. You won't regret it.

can you show me your RC Mini Helicopter ?

Well here it is :)… one of the best mine heli's availible these days for a small amount of money. Won't break, lots of spare parts availible and a perfect way to learn flying these things.

what rc helicopter should i choose?

ok i have been debating on what rc copter i should get , now i have a exi 450 and a blade cx2 but im trading my cx2 for a msi mother board and a and a nvidea 540 gpu with 4g of ram from my lil brother and i was thinking of replacing it with a exi 250 http://www.xheli.com/pyro-250-exi-micro-helicopter.html or a guai quadcopter http://www.flying-hobby.com/shop/gaui-330x-quadflyer-s-version-wo-gu344-gyro-p-7749.html and now just found a scorpion quadcopter
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/scorpion-y650-multi-copter-y6tcopter-folding-frame-kit-y6t-y-type-multicopter.html ..so im torn from with one i should get cause i like all three but only have space for one so the link here is to see my collection witch is half done > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZmw9abxvGo&feature=plcp&context=C2abdfUDOEgsToPDskLEIBaTQ21yHVYx887mXgcU so let me know what you think or opitions

Cool collection!

If you really enjoyed your EXI 450 you might just consider moving to the EXI 250, its pretty much the same helicopter wrapped up in a smaller package. If you are just interested in relacing your 450 I would just scale down a bit. Nothing lost–nothing gained.

The Scorpion is hot too, but quad copters are really best if you want to get into doing video where you need a stable platform to mount your camera for aerial photography.

If you think you may want to get into aerial photography definitely go this way.

Here is a resource that might give you for a few more ideas:

I have not tried a quad copter yet myself, but it definitely does sound interesting!

Cheers

i wanna buy a RC mini helicopter…can you show me the best idea ?

Not to shoot you down, but I wouldnt waste my money on them. They are poorly balanced and they brake too easily. Ive bought around 6-8 of them and every one of them ended up breaking or getting lost. Id save my money and buy one of the larger 4-6 channel ones

What rc helicopter is good but not too expensive?

I am a beginner and want to find a good remote control helicopter.

1. I want it to be able to get of the ground,
2. have a reasonable flight time in between charges
3. be reasonably easy to learn how to fly it doesn't have to be too simple I have a brain :)
4. flies straight when you want it too and not just in circles
5. This is not as important but it would be really nice if it had full range of motion (forward, back, right, left, up, down and possibly hover)
6. If it does crash preferably it won't shatter into a jazillion pieces maybe a gyro would keep it from crashing I don't know enough about them to know

I don't want one too big. Indoor is preferred to outdoor, but if it does both that's obviously fine too :). I've read that a "hobby" standard coaxial mini helicopters are better than "toy" helicopters because if something does break you can replace parts. On the other hand I'm NOT made of money so a $80 helicopter for fun is far out of my budget.

If nothing like this exists sorry to waste your time, but I'm hoping some rc helicopter junkie can read this and have a solution. I tried googling it, but I don't know enough of the terminology to find what I want. I found something called a "E-flite Blade mCX" off of a blog and it sounds awesome but the cheapest I can find it is $60 which is still far out of my budget :\. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your in luck, there is a mini RC helicopter does fit your criteria pretty well.

Its the Syma S107 mini electric RC helicopter.

I've had mine for some time and I love it, its great fun and easy to fly. Its a good beginners helicopter.
If it does crash its got a metal frame and is pretty durable. Mine hit the ceiling, the desk, and the dog, and it just keeps right on going.

If you get it online you should be able to grab one for around $30 bucks. Thats it.

You can read a full review and see a video of it flying right here:

I hope you try the s107 you wont regret it!

Happy Holidays–

Cheers
