Aunque en la definición de UAV se considera a todos los vehículos aéreos no tripulados como en este caso, pero comandados y controlados desde tierra por Estaciones de Control. Y normalmente incorporan sistemas de autopilotaje y control de altura, rumbo, "detector" de obstáculos, etc
