Honey Bee fwd flight test.

Forward Flight (Wind-Test) of the E-Sky Honey Bee electric helicopter with CCPM rotor head and throttle hold. These are the first forward flights. I am quite impressed with this little helicopter with Electric tail rotor motor. Considering the price ($109.00 plus shipping with radio and ready to fly) this was a deal from EBay. It came with an extra stock LiPo Battery, extra main and tail rotor blades, and a wall charger too.
I do not recommend this for beginning helicopter pilots, but if you have some experience with a cyclic collective pitch rotor head, you will really enjoy it.

Get the HB fixed …
Get the HB fixed pitch. It is cheap, parts are around and it will teach you to hover well, as that is what must be accomplished first. All helis fly away easily but if you cant hover, they will not come back. Study my 9 heli flying tips. If you dont have them, I will pm them to you.

Please email me any tips to get started. I have flown 2 CH cheap helis bit the HB is my first real heli.

NightFlyyer @ 3:09 pm

Any bigger heli …
Any bigger heli will handle the wind better, and Gas ones do best. The ETRMs like honeybees do pretty good, but your talking about only a few inches bigger or smaller, which is not even worth considering as they all fly the same in the wind. It is the weight that makes the big difference, so they can keep the momentum in stunts.

Sorry, just pm me, …
