RC HELICOPTER HELP!!!?

i bought a new rc electric helicopter (bout 50 cm long and was bout £30 or $50) i charged that battery fully and tried to make it take off…but it wouldnt move an inch. both propellors soan…infact the helicopter started to spin..it couldnt even produce enough lift to move a centimetre off the ground!!! i adjusted the potentiometer calibrator thing…but its still useless.
the air that i receive off the back propellor is much greater than that i receive from below the main rotor….which i can hardly feel any air….and it does not spin that fast…even though the motor does???
it spins clockwise…and i think it might be that somehow the helicopter might be jammed digitally to turn clockwise…as when i push the left (clockwise) trigger on the controller there is no extra effect….but when i press the right(anticlockwise) trigger it starts to rumble and speed up in the same direction.
if i hold down the main cod…i can still turn the main rotor…does think mean theres a loose connection?
and yes i do start of slow then go fast…or fast straight away.

plz help me!!!!!!

thnx

Hi:

The first thing I do : see if the shaft is broke than see if it connected to the main rotor if it loose it not going to generate any lift all .If there all good the try the controls See if move the main rotor blade up and down. If that don't work ? Then take it back to where you bought it from; along with the sale receipt and show them the item is defective

If your helicopter is spinning then the rotor on the tail isn't spinning fast enough to compensate for the inertia created by the top rotor. There should be an adjustment for this speed on the copter or the controller.
