Can i charge my micro twister ninja rc helicopter with a usb?

You are supposed to charge the heli by the remote control but i think its just going to waste the batteries. My other helicopter the micro twister pro uses a usb so i was just wondering if i could use that to charge it instead of the remote. The charging inputs are almost identical on each heli so i don't think that they are any different. So basically i just need to know if the usb charger can charge the micro twister ninja, just in case it burns out the battery.
