Rc helicopter problems?

Hello
I recently brought a mini rc heli. it isn;t one of those cheap ones, but after only having it for one week, i went to go fly it yesterday (indoors) and it takes off, but spins around and around. I have tried changing the pitch, but it doesn't work. no matter what i do, it still just spins around and around and it makes it very difficult because i have little if no control over it. Any ideas how i could fix this?

What kind of helicopter is it?

I thought you purchased a fixed pitched helicopter, not a pitched helicopter…. But usually the electronic speed controller/ gyro should have a proportional tune for this sort of thing… That or you put the rear rotor on backwards…
