What RC helicopter has the longest flight range and the longest flight time?

I would like to buy an electric rc helicopter with the longest flight range (distance between helicopter and radio) and fight time out on the market. Any suggestions?
What brands would you recommend? Why?

My advice is that you should just buy the airship. . . @

which is easier to build from scratch a electric or gas RC helicopter?

and why?

electric.
its been a long time since you can have free access to a metal working machine shop at the local factory for a few dimes a day or have a home metal machine shop in the garage/studio. even just buying a metal working lathe to build the gas engine block is prohibitively expensive.
radio shack and hobby stores sells electric motors and pre-designed micro controller kits. DIY a gas anything without a large collection of basic metal working tools is impossible. and a Dremel doesn't count.

How to repair a Burned/Damaged/Overcharged Li-Po Battery?

I used my V-Max Hypersonic Helicopter's USB Charger to Charge my micro Cessna 781 9g RC Airplane, Normally the Cessna charges through the Remote Control.
I thought that since V-max also charges through the remote control ,the usb cable would work with my Cessna.
Now, the Cessna Refuses to start.
I need Help Please.
Best Answer Will be chosen

DON'T!!!!

DAMAGED LI-PO BATTERIES ARE DANGEROUS.

THEY CAN (and I had one do it) "VENT TO FLAME" THAT MEANS, THAT I HAD ONE START TO SMOKE THEN BURST INTO FLAME WHILE SITTING ON THE WORK TABLE.

I HAD JUST REMOVED IT FROM A DEVICE THAT FELL ON THE FLOOR. I TOOK THE BATTERY OUT BECAUSE THE BATTERY TOOK A BAD JOLT.

Yes, I am trying to get your attention…. DO NOT MESS WITH DAMAGED Li-Po batteries.

RC Helicopter - First time charge?

Hi, with a new RC Helicopter should it be charged the first time, as when I turned it on it seems to have already been charged?

And should I like charge it extra longer?? Can you give me some tips on how to do the first charge, shall I charge it like normal…or use up the battery that is already in it from the factory? HELP

this is it
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001801&productId=1500491887&langId=-1&engine=froogle&keyword=Salvation+Micro+3+Channel+Indoor+Radio+Control+Helicopter&_$ja=tsid:11527|cc:|prd:3877814|cat:Radio+Control+Toys

Charge it like normal. Most rechargeable batteries come charged a certain percentage (40% is most cases) because it maximizes shelf life. You still need to fully charge before beginning normal use.

For those who know RC Helicopters.?

Hey im trying to buy a good micro heli and im stuck, Im considering going between Novus CX, or Novus FP idk r they any good? or is there something better out there? I also need a helicopter that Hobby Town carrys and they carry both of the models. ????

The Heli Max product line is good. You could also go with the E-Flite product line as well. But if it is your first helicopter, I would suggest getting the Novus CX. If it is your second, then get the Novus FP. The difference is flight control. Its just that the Co-Axial (CX) self balances. So if you let go of all controls (assuming you are giving it some throttle), the helicopter should just hover there. As for the FP or fixed pitched, it does not self balance and if you tilt it one way, itll fly in that direction until you counteract the direction you are flying to and balance it out.

Ok, so I have a problem with my Swift X-Power mini micro Helicopter!?

My helicopter: Swift X-Power mini mic

A picture of my helicopter: http://cy-model.com/osc/images/6020Y.jpg

The issue: When I fly my Rc Helicopter it just keeps spinning in circles. NOT LIKE THIS ONE!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijErOpjx_Ws

But My helicopter like spins in: http://btc.montana.edu/ceres/html/Polar/images/circle.jpg

How can I fix this?

The issue:

you bought a poorly engineered RC helicopter. What do you expect?

Any RC helicopter that uses a horizontal propeller in the back to move the helicopter back and forth is clearly cheap.

Return it and buy a better RC helicopter or just display it and buy a hobby shop RC helicopter.

Beginers RC Helicopter?

I'm looking into buying my first Heli, I have been advised to start with atleast 4 channels.

I was looking at the Esky Honey Bee CP3

What do you guys reccomend I start out with, Nitro or Electric.

I have a budget of around £100

I would definitely stay away from Nitro as a beginner. It adds a whole level of complexity to the hobby. There are so many great starter Mini Heli kits out there to get your feet wet. Get a small one so when you crash it (and you will), it will be cheap to fix and not a huge financial loss. Check out these kits:
