WORLD'S SMALLEST FIRST 4CH RC Helicopter !!!

Palm Size Helicopter
5" Rotor World's Smallest Helicopter Full 4 CH control. Palm Size Heli (Palmsize heli)
A true 4 channel fully controllable Palm-Size helicopter, NOT a 2 ch heli toy.
Made with custom designed Muscle Wire, Nitinol technology actuators.
This heli is based on my earlier MIA Palm-Size (TM) designs, Free Do-it-Yourself Palm-Size heli Plans
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=184432
as well as early MIA Micro-FLIGHT heli Rubber Powered, Free Flight, and RC Kits, I produced adn manufactured since the late 80's. http://www.micro-flight.com
This Design Includes:
* Carefully and precisely CNC machined composite frame and molded mechanical parts that were required to make it fly more like a larger full 4 CH RC helicopter.
* Uses a unique 4 ch IR controller that i used in the worlds first IR 4 Channel RC helicopter back in 1990's , my IR Robin micro heli, except I revamped it to work at this smaller scale.
The only limit I have with this setup is the lack of more realistic, less toy-like, and more precise rotor head. I have borrowed the rotor head from another heli, modified it to run some preliminary tests. I have a totally different rotor head I designed for it, but I have chosen not to disclose it so people don't steel my design. As is the IR control and the words Palm-Size have been already stolen by some companies and used at random on similar size "toy" helis.
This video is to test my revamped 4 channel control system outdoors and so far it works very well. Unlike some similar size IR 2ch toys, I can place the heli when and where I want to and not be worried of flying it anywhere and even over water, because it is glitch free, due to better signal filtering. Note, day of flight was breezy, but had no problem controlling the heli. And to the untrained eye, the heli may look like a regular size micro, bare in mind the heli is only 5 inches long.

I am happy for your dad if was able to make one 2 inches, takes some skill when you start to make them really small. Have you seen my avatar? Taat one is 1.5" was done a few years back and it flies too.

Alright then can you tell me what the other 2 channels are for?
Yes it is 4 channel …
Yes it is 4 channel controlled. Note that a helicopter need not have a typical mechanical swashplate to be four channel controlled. There are other means to effect 4 channel control.
is it really a 4ch …
is it really a 4ch where is the Swash plate all i could see was a hollow whole right above the rotor gear.
I want to use the …
I want to use the rotors and IR system of a PicooZ for a four channel micro heli. I would need some kind of servo or similar electromagnetic control, right? Do you know where I could find such servos that are small and light enough? And recources for how to hook up the IR control to it?
Thanks!

several years ago, …
several years ago, I built a very tiny, less than 2 inches flying helicopter from my free MIA Palm-Size (TM)helicopter plans that I placed on RC Groups' Free FLIGHT section, around same time. Visit triple w dot micro-flight dot com for more.
Then that's EVEN …
Then that's EVEN MORE awesomecake!

This helicopter has …
This helicopter has also been equipped with a custom made Radio Frequency equipment, the tradeoff of being slightly heavier.
WHOO! I thought it …
WHOO! I thought it was 2ft long, 'til half way through! Shame about the IR though: how long 'til they are RC, with RC cameras on?
IANAL, but "palm sized" (with any punct/caps) fails as a TM. It's a "descriptive" term, and you not only don't "defend" it, you publicly advocate using it as a non-TM classification name, saying things like:
"perhaps there should be a… Palm size Heli Section"
and "I have chosen 'Palm Size', as the most logical name designation"
A result of this …
A result of this groundwork and the personal interest of some individuals, toys like the PiccoZ resulted in a saleable item. I am sure as of this posting and because technology has evolved to some very obtainbale and cost effective tiny lightweight components, it will not be far before we see a full 4 channel helicopter like this ultry tiny MIA Palm-Size (TM) full 4 channel Control heli I am flying, for sale.
