GAS NIGHT FLYING RC Helicopters and Round Tuits with Dave.
Best to watch(click)smallest size! Night Flying has come a long way. Back then there were no colored, High intensity LEDs or Light Ropes like we have now. We used Chemical lights and 5 VDC incandescent lights. It was fun then and I still fly today in the dark with my electric Cox Christen Eagle. It is lots of fun and the weather is generally better at night than by day.

Yeah, you can use …
Yeah, you can use the lower voltage High intensity LEDs, but you will have to add a resistor to lower the voltage. Or, if you can find 6V high intensity LeDs on the internet that may be the ticket. My wing tips are always bulbs or Cyalume Chemical lights.

where can i find some led's or any kind of lights for this ive went to radioshack and everywhere i can think but all they have is some around 2-3 volts or 12 volts nothing anywhere in between well thanks a bunch dave
