how to improve a rc helicopters landing skids?

i have a blade cp pro and would like to know if anyone knows how to improve the skids, i am always breaking them in some sort of way. any one plz help me!!1

Don't make them harder, just make them easier and cheaper to replace. Use some wood doweling rods.
