does it immeditly …
does it immeditly transmit or do you get the video after you have filmed it?

chrisfev01 @ 12:06 pm

I own Adobe Premier …
I own Adobe Premier and I think you need a Masters Degree to use it.

I will try Sony Vegas.

Thanks for your input.

cinematicfanatic @ 12:06 pm

Oh, well Sony Vegas …
Oh, well Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere will do the job. Vegas is more user friendly and my choice for getting things done quickly.

chrisfev01 @ 12:06 pm

No, not special at …
No, not special at all. I already have the software for displaying the output of the data logger (EagleTree Systems). I also already know how to capture the logger playback to a vid file. I simply need PnP capability in editing software to embed the data logger playback into the onboard (and external) video.

chrisfev01 @ 12:06 pm

"…pathetic insult …
"…pathetic insult." Yup. You get what you give.

"…This isn't a live video feed, you understand?." Thanks for clearing that up for me.

As for Google you just don't get it. When you Google Picture in Picture you get advertisements for dozens of products, none of which provide actual user feedback.

The guy that posted this obviously found some PnP software that works so I asked him the question - which he answered promptly by the way.

If you have nothing useful to add - don't.

cinematicfanatic @ 12:06 pm

Also, it sounds …
Also, it sounds like you're looking for a very specialist piece of software. This guy is just putting two pieces of video footage together. I suggest asking on some RC forums.

I use a lot of technical software and I've never heard of anything like that.

cinematicfanatic @ 12:06 pm

I'm not trying to …
I'm not trying to offend by the way. It's simply common sense. You will get a quicker answer by Googling. This guy might not reply to your question for weeks.

cinematicfanatic @ 12:06 pm

I think suggesting …
I think suggesting I live with my mother is quite a pathetic insult.

It's just I see questions like this all the time on Youtube "What editing software do you use" etc.

This isn't a live video feed, you understand? The picture in picture is an effect. To find out what software has this effect you simply type into google 'picture in picture software' or something to that effect.

Do you ring up the pizza delivery place and ask them "How are your pizza boxes made?"

chrisfev01 @ 12:06 pm

Not a lame question …
Not a lame question to ask. I'm already familiar with how to capture the video/audio locally and remotely. I am already doing this with large scale RC aircraft.

I need an editor that is capable of Picture in Picture to display airspeed, altitude, RPM, and heading (collected from an onboard data logger) in my videos.

Are you always so abrasive when hiding behind the internet? Does your Mommy know you're online?

cinematicfanatic @ 12:06 pm

Christ, what a lame …
Christ, what a lame question to ask.

ZOMG Picture in Picture!

More importantly, how is the video from the camera being captured?
